How do I join?

Process

The application form is the same for both accredited paralegals and trainee accredited paralegals and can be downloaded, completed and emailed to [email protected].

The application process is a two part process: part one is the application and part two is the provision of evidence form.

Once you have submitted your application form you will be allocated an online account (and sent an email with your username and password). In the member login area you can also view your personal details, upload trainee quarterly reviews (if relevant) and submit CPD.  

You will receive emails throughout your application process advising you of the stage you are presently at and throughout the process you can contact us with any questions you have.   

Once your application has been approved you will receive an invoice for the membership fee due. Upon payment of this we will send you a certificate,  a copy of which should be passed to your current employer for their records. 

Practice year

The practice year for accredited paralegals runs from 1 February to 31 January and you can join at any time. 

Joining fee

The joining fee is £125 per annum and is payable when your application has been approved by the Accredited Paralegal Committee.

This fee can be paid by cheque/electronic transfer or credit card.
