Koby, if I ever have a disappointing son who believes in crackpot theories and acts like a delusional, far-right manchild, I’d take him to the courts, ask for a name change, and name him after you.
Just because you’re implying that “some” YouTube and Twitch Channels are under regulation, doesn’t mean that it makes C-10 any more justified. It’s still regulating User-Created Content and still an invasion of free speech. And even if you are promising that you won’t abuse your power. It still gives the tools that will be abused eventually.
Why are you wasting space and time with this kind of shit? I still have respect for you, but it’s waning when I heard about this stuff. I am genuinely confused to why give one of, if not the biggest Conservative asshole(s) on Capitol Hill (who is partly responsible for the Insurrection four months ago) his own space in the Washington Post. That’s like the New York Times accepting an interview with Adolf Hitler about his Final Solution. These things should not be compatible.
Well first the bill has to become a law. The structure of the government of Canada is odd, it’s a hybrid of American lawmaking process and the structure of a parliamentary democracy. The Liberal Party has a slight majority in the House of Commons, but if it has any chance of passing, it is through there. But chances of the bill passing through the senate is a little less clearer since the majority is controlled by a loose conglomerate of independent senators. The Liberal Party doesn’t have any representation in the senate oddly. So it’ll depend on whether or not it will pass the senate.
I understood shit like this would come through the European Union of Oceania and the U.S., but Canada’s choice really does get my blood boiling. Throughout the Trump era, I thought that Canada was going to be the better half of America. But when C-10 was unveiled, how it throws free speech out like it threw a person out of a speeding train, now I’m not even sure anymore. Please, those who are rational in the Canadian government, oppose this digital Holocaust.
You’re better than this Canada. You’re better than this.
Listen, idiot. You’re not exposing anything. You don’t have proof. You don’t have sources. You are spouting nonsense. The only thing that you’re exposing is yourself as a complete, utterly egotistical ignoramus. I suggest that you take a break from the internet for a while, do your goddamn research to know the difference between moderation and censorship, and come back here with a coherent argument that doesn’t resort to exclamation points or pointless bold lettering.
I hate being a devils advocate, but to be fair for Biden he does seem to have a lot on his plate right now. With that being said, it wouldn’t hurt to spend a week or so to get a nomination through.
UK: Let’s not implement the EU copyright regime because we respect our citizens’ user rights. Also UK: Let’s hang end-to-end encryption so we can keep our citizens safe and ensure that they uphold the law. Also also UK: Let’s use the end-to-end encryption system to discuss how to gut it. Debating the opaque ethics of the largest government-endorsed invasion of privacy in recent history out in the open is haaaaarrrrd.
I’m going to be honest, I agree with both of you. Yes, these horrid bills have a chance of passing; however, it’s still low, mainly because so far (emphasis on so far) the bills that have been introduced haven’t gained enough steam for cosponsors. But also based on the fact that Congress is infamously slow and very few bills are given a pathway to law.
To my estimates, It’s a 10% chance that one of these bills may pass in the coming months (if not years). But remember. it’s not a 0%.

Let’s be honest, not even Florida man wouldn’t even put his name on a bill so batshit crazy and so detached from reality.
Re: Can I get "radical leftist Biden promotes child pornography"
Wat?
How they went about reforming this bill
UK Parliament: "Okay lets reform this bill."
proceeds to just change the title.
UK Parliament: "We did it. The children are now safe online!"

“Left wing fascism...”
Bruh. Read those words again, but slower so you could realize the immense stupidity of what you just said.
Listen, you disgraceful abuser of the word “Liberal...”

Absolute Power corrupts absolutely.

Hey England, you okay? You’re having a bad case of hypocrisy.
