  1. Really want to get this but at the same time i dont want to spoil season 3. It will be great to see what happened to everyone but maybe readingthis book will detract from the experience?

    • Exactly, Lucy. I’m eager to read the book, but I’ll wait with reading it until after I’ve seen the new episodes.

Also, for me, Twin Peaks was/is so special that I also don’t want to see or read too much about the making of it, although it would surely be very interesting, I’d be afraid that it would take away some of its magic. I bought the book ”Reflections: An Oral History Of Twin Peaks” but still haven’t read it…

      • It’s supposed to be read in between the old show and the new. Why would they not release it afterwards if it wasn’t supposed to be read. It among other things tells what happened in town during these 25 years.

  2. According to the new press release, the book isn’t going to cover [email protected]@t about anything that happened since the show ended. Flipping hell! Another effing prequel! I remember buying a Quantum Leap novel that promised to show more after the show’s ending and instead ended WITH the show’s ending–nothing new at all. It sounds like this is the same effing BS. What crap.

    • Relax, bro — for all we know, there could very well end up being a great deal of “interquel” info woven into the new book’s tapestry; I don’t see Mark Frost writing this thing without covering those intervening years at least somewhat.

And especially if this book is set during the “present day” of 2016-17, it’d pretty much HAVE to cover those missing years to a certain extent, in order to bring the whole thing up-to-date with the new Showtime season.

      • Well it says it ends at the series finale so it isnt set during the present day so there wont be anything that happened after/inbetween

  3. Looking forward to reading it. I’m glad this won’t cover anything beyond the old show–why would you want to read a bunch of spoilers before you see the new episodes?

  4. If I knew before that the book won´t cover the events after the season two finale, I wouldn´t get it´s pre-sale. In fact, just waiting for confirmation of it, to cancel it. Couldn´t care less for 18th century histories,

  5. What if we pre-ordered already, will we be able to have it signed by Mark without having to buy another copy at the stores where he’s doing the signings?

  6. Jorge: according to the online bookstore I’ll use: the American version (Flatiron) is 9 pages longer. I don’t know anything else. It’s probably only a formatting thing. I’ll most likely end up getting the Flatiron, it’s literally 70 cents more (Euro), and MF is American not British so that seals the deal for me.

  7. I got the CD audio version but need a track lisiing so I can listen to it on my iPod. Does anyone have a track List? Especially disk 8.

    • There is no tracklist on the CD 8, I don’t know why. For the others itunes find the correct names without any problems. I’m looking also for the CD 8. ^^

      • Here is a Disc 8 listing I did when importing to iTunes:
        1 Archivist’s Note
2 He Died With His Boots On
        3 Listening Post Alpha – 1 Revelations
        4 Archivist’s Note
        5 Special Agent Dale Cooper
6 Encrypted Message from Lt. Col. Milford
        7 The Dossier Ends Here
        8 Credits
