Resurrection - A Journey Tribute present the Escape LP with opener, Kings of Pain

Resurrection, the nations premier Journey tribute band, marks the 40th anniversary of the release of Journey’s landmark “Escape” album by performing this epic work in its entirety on Friday, June 25. Following the last album cut, the band will return to the stage for a barrage of hits from the rest of Journey’s catalogue.

Come hear vocalist, Ryan Christopher, hit all the high notes with ease backed by a stellar group of professional Nashville musicians that will leave audiences amazed any band can replicate the sound of the “Steve Perry era” of Journey with the precision Resurrection can.

Friday marks the return of the longer show format Resurrection only performs when at its hometown venue. The weekend also marks the first time Resurrection has performed a long show format on back to back nights at 3rd & Lindsley. If Friday’s show leaves you wanting more, pick up tickets for Saturday’s show which will be a different set list comprised of all your Favorite Journey hits along with some deep cuts from the “Evolution” LP.

Opening the night at 7pm will be the Police tribute band, “Kings of Pain”. Featuring vocalist, Ron Hemby, this band is a perfect compliment to an evening of great 70’s and 80’s music.

Resurrection - A Journey Tribute presents the 2021 Revolution Tour with openers, Sam Mullins and Casey’s Countdown

Resurrection completes a great weekend of back to back nights at 3rd & Lindsley, returning with the long-show format the band has been known for performing on its home turf since 2014. This time around, the 2-plus hour set from the nation’s premier Journey tribute band will feature deep cuts from Journey’s “Evolution” LP in addition to all the great hits you know and love. If you’ve never seen the band before, you are in for a one-of-a-kind experience, as many of the band‘s followers make the ‘journey’ from around the country to see the band in Music City due to the longer show format and other factors unique to performances in this venue.

Opening the night at 7pm will be Sam Mullins followed by “Casey’s Countdown”, a band comprised of musicians from other well known bands in the area including Jacqi Michaels and Ralph Graham from “World Turning”, Tim Buppert from “Vinyl Radio”, and Jim Frazier from “Child’s Anthem”.
