Franco Battiato, one of Italy’s greatest singer-songwriters and composers, sadly recently passed away. Several WFMU programs paid tribute to the maestro, who it seems could do almost anything: pop, electronic music, soft rock, experimental music, even opera. WFMU has started a virtual movie house! We are adding films to rent and part of the proceeds go to benefit the station, which always needs a little help.
