Thanks to the Tibetan people, especially their living savior, His Holiness the Dalai Lama and his various emanations, I have found basic sanity in my lifelong quest.

To share the deep sciences and magnificent arts of Tibet, I founded the
American Institute of Buddhist Studies to translate the Tibetan Treasury of Buddhist Arts and Sciences into all modern languages, connecting it to the Jey Tsong Khapa Endowed Chair of Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Studies at Columbia University in the City of New York.

Then, in order to preserve the precious culture of living Tibetans I co-founded Tibet House US, as the Cultural Embassy in New York City and the Menla Healing Center in the Catskill Mountains, where all can learn to as I do.
