Charles – MFC

Charles retired as the United States Marine Corps Senior Service Representative to the U. S. Army War College in June 2013. Enlisting in 1984, he served as an artilleryman in the 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, attaining the rank of Corporal prior to his commissioning as a Second Lieutenant. Designated an operational communications and information systems officer, Charles served in every element of the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF), with the privilege of leading Marines and serving with all the services at every rank and level, before retiring as a Colonel.

Charles' tours of duty include service throughout the Western Hemisphere, the Pacific, the Middle East, and Europe. Charles has combat tours during Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He served as Commanding Officer for the Marine Corps Recruiting Station in Orlando, Florida; Inspector-Instructor, 6th Communication Battalion and Commanding Officer and the 4th Marine Corps District. He has also served on the Joint Staff, the Pentagon.

Charles holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of the Marine Corps Amphibious Warfare School, Marine Corps Command and Staff College and has served as a Marine Corps Corporate Fellow on Wall Street. He holds a master's degree in Strategic Planning and National Security Studies from the U.S. Navy War College, Newport, Rhode Island.

James – RMS

James is a military veteran of the U.S. Army. He entered service in October 1983, attended basic training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and graduated as a 13B Cannon Crewmember.

James served in numerous positions as a Combat Arms Field Artillery professional for 10 years before being selected to attend the US Army Recruiting and Retention School in Fort Jackson, South Carolina as a recruiter. He was assigned to the 2nd Recruiting Brigade where he held assignments in Knoxville, Tennessee and Orlando, Florida as a Recruiter, Station Commander and Senior Advisor. Before James completed his 24 years of military service, he completed his formal education and holds a Master of Science degree in Management with a concentration in Human Resources from Troy University.

James retired from the U.S. Army in November 2007. Soon afterward he joined Lockheed Martin as an Employment Manager for the Talent Acquisition Team in Orlando, serving in that role for five years.

Carlos - Space

Carlos, aka “Ace” retired from the U.S. Navy in September of 2019 as a U.S. Navy Senior Chief after 22 years of service. His career led him to serve on multiple aircraft carriers, including the USS Kearsarge (LHD-3) and the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) as flight deck director. His deployments supported the Kosovo Liberation Campaign, Operation Shining Hope, Operation Allied Force, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Joint Task Force Operation Katrina.

In 2005, Carlos was selected for the Navy’s Career Recruiting Force and spent over fifteen years in early career to professional recruiting. Carlos served in several recruiting commands across the nation, including Miami, New York, Atlanta, and Denver. He qualified as Chief Recruiter, served as the Assistant Chief Recruiter for Navy Recruiting District Denver, and is a graduate of the U.S. Naval War College - Senior Enlisted Academy.

Carlos joined Lockheed Martin Space in November of 2019, where he oversaw Lockheed Martin Space High School Internship Program as the Program Lead and currently serves as the Military Relations Lead for the Space Business Area.

Kristin - Aero

Kristin commissioned as an officer in U.S. Army Adjutant General Corps in 2010 and initially was assigned to Fort Hood, TX, serving as Battalion S1/Adjutant for the 206th Military Intelligence Battalion Aerial Exploitation. During this tour she deployed to Iraq as part of Task Force ODIN. Upon redeploying, Kristin served as the Assistant Brigade S1/Strength Manager for the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division. On completing the Captain’s Career Course, Kristin moved to Fort Bragg, NC where she served in the 1st Theater Sustainment Command, 14th Human Resources Sustainment Center from 2014-2016. During this time, she deployed to Kuwait.

Kristin is a 2010 graduate of the United States Military Academy, where she captained the NCAA Division 1 Women’s tennis team. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Portuguese with a Systems Engineering concentration from the United States Military Academy at West Point. While at West Point, she studied abroad at the Instituto Militar de Engenharia (Brazilian Engineering Military Academy) in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. Additionally, she holds a Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.

Kristin began her career with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in June of 2018 as a Human Capital Analyst and later transitioned to the Talent Acquisition team in 2019. She transitioned to the sourcing team in November 2021, to her current role as the Military Relations & Diversity Sourcing Lead. Kristin enjoys bringing the special talents of experienced military veterans to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.
