    I still stand by this month's later. VR isn't and will never be a baby sitting tool. No technology will ever be a babysitting tool. Technology can be a learning aid, but it can't look after your kids for you.

    Dear Parents, The Quest headset & a copy of VRChat, Pavlov, Onward or whatever other game is NOT a babysitting tool to give your kids. Stop putting children in VR, it's not healthy for a developing child to be using VR & it's frustrating for older users. The Quest isn't an IPad.

    FINALLY got my headless server for migrated over to my proxmox temporary server in a container after extracting it from its own docker container. It only took 6 hours of reading through the docker's composition files in GitHub. And pain.

    I have 11 point tracking, face tracking, heart rate monitoring powered by , and 2 extra trackers. I put the extras on my gaming chair and shaker. No weird shaders. No hacky scripting. No fake physics. Just simple object linking. Only in .

    Slowly making progress on the reader system, which reads the information from YUR (a VR fitness app) and allows it to be used elsewhere. Currently only works in , but OSC should be possible later (though YUR hinted at adding native support).

    This I can agree with. The amount of pot that was smoked at the last concert I was at is what I blame for feeling ill right now. Whoever was nearby, my throat is sore as fuck, asshole! Don't get me wrong, you do you, but at a public event... fuck off.

    One of the researchers said the study could help defeat misconceptions that secondhand cannabis smoke poses less risk than secondhand tobacco smoke

    It's finally happened! I finally hit level 60 in . Decided to spend the last few hundred XP I needed in doing some cooking with newer players. A bit weird the notification for is delayed, but oh well. Here's to Season 21!

    Progress on the vignette system for . So far, works well, but I need to experiment with the texture fade I'm using. Also, would prefer to make it super easy to use by automatically finding the user's viewing point. Happy with it either way.

    I follow a simple philosophy: I hire an artist for a commission. I pay said artist with an available balance, not credit. Artist gets money immediately because there is no processing from a creditor. It's not that hard or complicated. Please, just pay your artists.
