NATO is in the news lately, especially with the announcement that Sweden and Finland have formally been invited to join. How much do you know about the organization?
Why was NATO formed?

On July 4, 1776, after more than a year of war with Great Britain, the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence. Listing “a long train of abuses and usurpations” by the British Crown, the declaration asserted the right of the American colonies to self-governance.
