Leave it to Beaver

Dow's career began when he went on a casting call and landed the role of Wally Cleaver in Leave it to Beaver. The classic family sitcom aired on CBS for one season from 1957 to 1958 before moving to ABC for five seasons from 1958 to 1963. A total of 234 episodes were produced over the six seasons. The series was retitled The New Leave it to Beaver when it moved to WTBS for three additional seasons from 1986 to 1989. A total of 101 episodes (plus the movie) were produced over the four seasons. Abbott Elementary Star to Host ABC Game Show; Amazon Orders The Hospital

The Final Straw - Janelle James

Comedian Janelle James (Abbott Elementary) will host the new, physical comedy competition series, The Final Straw, premiering Sunday, July 10 from 9:00-10:00 p.m. EDT on ABC. NFL superstar Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions also joins the project as executive producer. The stakes are high as four teams of colorful contestants face off to combat tremendous tipping towers. Each life-sized themed tower is chock full of various objects ranging from basketballs to small kitchen appliances as contestants try to successfully pull items from the stack without tipping it over in order to earn prizes. If the tower falls, the team is eliminated; and the last team standing will compete against The Mega Stack, an epic battle of physics where the odds are literally stacked against them, in hopes of winning a life-changing grand prize of up to $250,000 with the option to walk away or risk it all. James has written and appeared on Showtime's Black Monday, Apple TV+'s Central Park, and is currently a series regular on the ABC sitcom Abbott Elementary as Principal Ava.

The Hospital

Amazon Studios announced that it has ordered two seasons of The Hospital, a new sci-fi animated comedy created by Cirocco Dunlap and executive produced by Maya Rudolph, Natasha Lyonne, and Danielle Renfrew Behrens through Animal Pictures. Shauna McGarry will also executive produce. Keke Palmer, Greta Lee, Kieran Culkin, Sam Smith, Rudolph and Lyonne will voice aliens in the series with more voice cast to be announced. The Hospital will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. The Hospital is a completely original concept that follows Sleech and Klak - aliens, best friends, and intergalactically renowned surgeons - as they tackle anxiety-eating parasites, illegal time loops, and deep-space STIs. Risking their careers to take on a remarkable case, they put existence itself in jeopardy. Although considering their dismal personal lives, oblivion might be an improvement.

Keke Palmer will voice-star as Dr. Klak, a brilliant, multi-eyed surgeon who spends her down time feeding her sentient plants, obsessively reviewing past failures, and watching hit show My Lover, My Clone with her best friend Dr. Sleech. Greta Lee will voice-star as Dr. Sleech, a reckless, cocky surgeon whose main saving graces are her genius, her well-oiled lizard tail, and her unconditional love for her best friend Dr. Klak. Natasha Lyonne will voice-star as Nurse Tup, a playful nihilist with chameleon flesh who thrives in the chaos of the Hospital. Maya Rudolph will voice-star as Dr. Vlam, a robot intern who has been alive for at least 20,000 years. Kieran Culkin will voice-star as Dr. Plowp, a surgeon, an empath, and an adult experiencing puberty. The Goldbergs Renewed for Season 10 on ABC; Roku Picks Up Children Ruin Everything for Season 2

The Goldbergs

Mazel Tov! It's party time because The Goldbergs is coming back for Season 10 on ABC! 🥳 This means the '80s set comedy would have lasted a full decade. Will they dive into the '90s soon? The Goldbergs stars Wendi McLendon-Covey (Bridesmaids) as Beverly Goldberg, Patton Oswalt (Ratatouille) as adult Adam Goldberg, Sean Giambrone as Adam Goldberg, Troy Gentile (Good Luck Chuck) as Barry Goldberg, Hayley Orrantia (The X Factor) as Erica Goldberg and Sam Lerner as Geoff Schwartz. More details about the season 10 plotline and more probably will be announced during the upfronts next month. Season 10 is likely premiering next fall on ABC. The Goldbergs airs Wednesdays at 8pm on ABC.

Children Ruin Everything

Roku, Inc. announced that season one of Roku Original comedy Children Ruin Everything will debut on The Roku Channel in the U.S. on Friday, May 13. Roku has also picked up season two of the series, which will feature double the episodes of season one, at an increased 16, half-hour episode season. Production for season two is to begin this Spring in Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario. Created by Golden Globe(R) and Emmy(R) Award-winner Kurt Smeaton (Schitt's Creek), Children Ruin Everything is about living with the worst roommates of all: young children. Astrid (Meaghan Rath) and James (Aaron Abrams) struggle to find a balance between being 'Mom and Dad' to two kids and being who they were before offspring. Children Ruin Everything explores the hilarious and varied ways kids can tear down your life and, if you're lucky, replace it with something you have to admit is pretty okay, too. The series also stars Ennis Esmer, Nazneen Contractor, Logan Nicholson, Mikayla SwamiNathan, Dmitry Chepovetsky, Veena Sood, Lisa Codrington and Darius Rota.
