My wife and I loved Kim's Convenience, it was a great series with wonderful actors. CBC created this "complete" series, each episode is horrible quality, only 720 x 480 resolution! Come on CBC! Its 2022, not 2002.
For some reason, despite a 14+ age rating, f-bombs are censored with a loud beep, even though this is NOT censored elsewhere, as on Netflix and CBC Gem. There is no alternate, uncensored audio track. Infuriating.
The disc and case quality is also extremely poor. I had two sets arrive and had to pick and choose which ones to return as defective, because 80% of the discs were badly scratched in transit.
Since this is the ONLY option if you want seasons 3-5 on physical media... especially for the price... I'm not thrilled.
