Top gun part of event

FIJI’S top amateur player Abid Hussain will be part of the two person Ambrose event that will be played at the Nadi Airport Golf Club Course next Monday.

Veteran Ram Khelawan and Joeli Kotoisuva will also participate in the tournament.

NAGC executive Mark Hinton said it would be a nine holes event.

He said the tournament would give their members a chance to spend their Christmas Day public holiday to interact amongst each other.

“We have big plans next year with the development of a few hotels near to our course,” Hinton said.

“We have been talking to the hotel operators to gain their support to develop the course to 18 holes again.”

The two person Ambrose event will tee-off at 11am and lunch will be provided.
