REVEALED: Ralph Lauren's Team USA blazer will cost fans an eye-watering one THOUSAND dollars if they want to replicate their Olympic heroes in Paris... with shirts priced at $325!

Ralph Lauren has unveiled the lavish uniforms Team USA stars will be wearing during the opening and closing ceremonies at this year's Olympic Games. 

Yet if fans want to acquire either look themselves, they're going to have to pay a fortune.

USA athletes will be donning navy wool blazers at the opening ceremony in Paris this summer, which boasts red and white tipping as well as Ralph Lauren's famous pony logo and the country's Olympic crest.


Underneath those blazers will be a blue striped Oxford shirt - with the whole ensemble paired with jeans and a suede buck shoe on the bottom. 

Male athletes are set to wear a dark blue knitted tie, while females will adopt an open collar look without any neckwear.

The full Team USA uniform set is available for fans to purchase on Ralph Lauren's website; with polo shirts, socks, caps, jackets and a white 'flagbearer' blazer also up for sale.

However, simply purchasing either of those blazers alone will set you back close to a thousand dollars.

Both the standard navy blazer and the alternative flagbearer option are priced at an eye-watering $998, while the Oxford shirt costs $325.

And if fans want to complete the look with jeans ($398), a tie ($175) and a belt ($198), they will be paying out a staggering $2,094.

For the closing ceremony, Team USA stars will be wearing $998 jackets, $248 polo shirts and $198 caps.

Prices are equal for male and female items, though ties are only available in the men's section.

In a press release, Ralph Lauren says this collection is American inspired, but that it also 'draws inspiration from the dynamic and vibrant host city of Paris.'

The fashion brand also says the uniforms 'embody the spirit and pride of Team USA' while serving also 'as a symbol of unity and inspiration for both our team and the millions of fans who will be cheering them on.' 

This is the ninth time that Ralph Lauren is designing the looks for Team USA at the opening and closing ceremony parades.

While Ralph Lauren has the opening and closing ceremony looks covered, any medal ceremony attire will be taken care of by Nike.
