Alojzy Jarguz (born 19 March 1934 - 22 April 2019) was a Polish football referee.

Early life

Jarguz was born in 1934 in Poland. He was a native of Rogoźno, Poland.[1]

Career

Jarguz refereed at the 1978 FIFA World Cup. He has been described as "considered the best referee in the history of Polish football by many experts, journalists and fans".[2]

Personal life

Jarguz had two children. He was married.[3]
