Cameron Murray (born 12 December 1999) is an American track and field athlete who competes as a sprint hurdler.[1]

Early life

From Georgia, he attended Westlake High School.[2] He ran 13.52 seconds for the 110m hurdles at high school.[3]

National Collegiate Athletics Association

He attended the University of Tennessee before transferring to North Carolina State University, for whom he won the ACC championship outdoors and the NCAA East Regional title. He set a NC State school record of 7.67 seconds for the 60m hurdles.[3][4]

Murray recorded a personal best time of 13.39 seconds for the 110m hurdles to qualify for the final of the NCAA Championships in June 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.[5]

Career

Murray recorded a personal best time of 7.45 to secure national silver in the 60m hurdles behind Trey Cunningham in Albuquerque, New Mexico in February 2024.[6] He was selected the 2024 World Athletics Championships in Glasgow, Scotland.[7]
