Description
English: The Mycenean armour known as the Dendra Panoply. It owes its name to the place where it was discovered: the necropolis of the village of Dendra, in the region of ancient Argolis, in Greece. The armor is made of fifteen pieces of bronze that are attached to one another by leather straps. It dates from the 15th century B.C.E., and is held at the Archaeological Museum of Nafplion, Greece.
