Maleč is a municipality and village in Havlíčkův Brod District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 600 inhabitants.

Maleč lies approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of Havlíčkův Brod, 42 km (26 mi) north of Jihlava, and 97 km (60 mi) east of Prague.

Administrative parts

The villages of Blatnice, Dolní Lhotka, Horní Lhotka, Hranice, Jeníkovec and Předboř are administrative parts of Maleč.
