Mohsenabad (Persian: محسن اباد, also Romanized as Mohsenābād; also known as Mohsenābād-e Taheri)[3] is a village in, and the former capital of, Bizaki Rural District[4] of the Central District of Golbahar County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. The capital of the rural district has been transferred to the village of Shelangerd.[5]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 260 in 66 households, when it was in Bizaki Rural District of the former Golbahar District of Chenaran County).[6] The following census in 2011 counted 450 people in 110 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 272 people in 85 households.[2]

In August 2019, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Golbahar County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Golbahar as its capital.[5]
