Design

The gun uses a smooth single-action striker-fired trigger mechanism.[2]

The frame is made out of polymer,[6] the slide and barrel are made out of 416 stainless steel[7] and the magazine is made out of black oxide alloy steel.[8] PSA offers the barrel finished in motley colours, it can be bought threaded and non-threaded.[9] The standard magazine holds 23 rounds which is 3 more for a pistol of that size and caliber, the similar size and caliber FN Five-seven holds 20 rounds.
