Pelauw dialect is a dialect of Haruku language spoken in Pelauw village, a traditional village (negeri) located on the northern part of Haruku Island, Maluku. The Pelauw dialect is one of the varieties of bahasa tanah ("land language") which is still used by indigenous peoples of Maluku. Pelauw is the main dialect in the Haruku language dialect chain.[1]

The Pelauw dialect is generally characterized by the use of the words [-ale], [-ne], [-po], and [-he] at the end of sentences. An example of a song that uses the Pelauw dialect in its lyrics is Hinia.
