Sankhvast (Persian: سنخواست)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Jolgeh Sankhvast District of Jajarm County, North Khorasan province, Iran.[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Chahardeh Sankhvast Rural District.[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,009 in 590 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,120 people in 677 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,077 people in 688 households.[2]
