Charidotella es un género de escarabajos de la familia Chrysomelidae. Fue descrito por Julius Weise en 1896. Es del nuevo mundo, especialmente neotropical. Las larvas llevan sus propias materias fecales en un apéndice sobre el cuerpo para alejar a depredadores.[1]​
