Viola wikipedia es una especie de violetas del género Viola. Es endémica de los alrededores de Santiago, la capital de Chile.[1]​

Fue descrita científicamente por Rodulfo Philippi en 1857, bajo el nombre de Viola angustifolia.[2]​ En 2019, fue descrita oficialmente por los botánicos Ana Rosa Flores y John Michael Watson, quienes la bautizaron con el nombre de Wikipedia en honor a la enciclopedia en línea.[1]​[3]​

Sin embargo, de acuerdo con el Índice Internacional de Nombres de las Plantas, Viola wikipedia no debería ser una nueva especie, sino un nombre superfluo e ilegítimo de Viola angustifolia.[4]​
