Rag Rug Techniques from Across the World with Elspeth Jackson from Ragged Life

Locker Hooking for Beginners
August 17th | 10am - 1pm
Learn the basics of locker hooking in this three-hour class. Learn how to bind your rug canvas, prepare your fabrics and of course, locker hook!
You'll take home a hook canvas, wool fabric strips, John James locker hook, woolen locking medium, and a hooking instruction booklet
Cost: $40 + $15 materials fee
British Rag Rug Techniques
August 17th | 2 - 5pm
In this beginners’ class, you will learn three traditional British techniques: proggy, hooked and a hybrid short shaggy style.
You'll take home the Easy Peasy Rag Rug Kit which includes: rag rug spring tool, rug hook, wooden cutting gauge, marker pen, hemmed rug hessian, techniques booklet, design booklet
Cost: $40 + $55 materials fee
