In this essay, the attention is focused on the method used to investigate colours, as produced in nature. This method was proposed by the author of the treatise Peri chrōmatōn, which has become part of the Corpus Aristotelicum. The colours are first divided into two large categories, simple and mixed, in accordance with other scientific and philosophical approaches. Simple (primary) colours are considered to be white and yellow, and are associated with the elements (air, water, earth, and fire/sun); black is also associated with the elements as they transform into one another. This division is new in comparison with previous theories based on two or four fundamental colours. O presente artigo tem como objetivo apresentar a leitura feita pela filósofa norte-americana Judith Butler de alguns elementos da obra do escritor tcheco Franz Kafka, com vistas a reconstruir narrativamente elementos esquecidos da tradição judaica que possibilitem realizar uma crítica às políticas nacionalistas e a violência de Estado praticada por Israel em face do povo Palestino. As obras escolhidas para extrair tal leitura foram uma conferência intitulada “Who Owns Kafka” e o livro “Caminhos Divergentes - judaicidade e crítica do sionismo”. Com base principalmente nessas duas fontes, buscar-se-á mostrar como Butler articula por meio de Kafka elementos velados da tradição judaica que permitem a construção de uma ética do reconhecimento do outro e da coabitação

O texto examina as caracteristicas centrais do mecanicismo moderno a partir de seu principal representante, Rene Descartes. La ricerca di minerali auriferi e argentiferi nella montagna veronese nel XVI secolo trova impulso nel 1573 con la costituzione di una società per lo sfuttamento di una vena mineraria situata a Peri nell'alta Val d'Adige veronese, che, oltre a oro e argento, avrebbe potuto dare anche rame, piombo e ferro.
L'autorizzazione allo sfruttamento, concessa dal Consiglio dei X della Serenissima nel 1572, aveva attirato l'attenzione anche al di fuori dell'ambito strettamente locale tanto che ai primi due soci se ne aggiunsero altri otto, fra i quali anche l'arciprete della chiesa di di Avio, nel Trentino ed esponenti del patriziato cittadino.
La documentazione veronese non consente tuttavia di stabilire se la società mineraria ebbe successo o meno. Ulteriori scavi archivistici potrebbero rivelare nuove informazioni.

The architecture of narrative theory, developed in Temps et recit by Paul Ricoeur, puts the multiplicity of our temporal experience in correspondence with the ability of speech to unify this temporality in which the lived and the chronological are mixed in a contradictory mode. The response to the so-called paradoxical nature of time stems from narrativity it self constituted as a result of a merger of mutual loans between historical and literary discourses. Of those, we will address the ability of history science of configuring and reconfiguring time, which, in its way, provides procedures for connection to mediate the ambiguity of time it self. Considering the increase in urban population and land consumption in the last decades, sustainability in peri-urban areas is a priority. Farming multifunctionality is the integration of different functions and activities that produce beneficial effects on local economy, environment and society. Recently, in many countries around the world, increasing support for and promotion of urban and periurban agriculture has been made, but in Morocco few research investigates its multifunctionality and its sustainability in relation with the future development of Moroccan cities. This research aims to contribute in this sense. Therefore, it underlines the potentials and challenges of peri-urban farming in the outskirts of Casablanca metropolis. Hence, the study is based on qualitative methods such as literature review, observation, subjective viewpoints, mapping and interviews. The research findings show a diversification of peri-urban production systems (vegetable crops, arboriculture, cereals, leguminous, fodder crops and cattle, sheep and poultry farming). Peri-urban farms are medium to large, mostly family owned and managed by elderly-experienced people. It is a multifunctional agriculture: it contributes to the economic development of the metropolis by creating jobs and generating income for farmers. It contributes to the food supply and the environmental beatification of the city. However, farms are facing several constraints that hinder their management, in particular strong urban pressure and its consequences, the insufficiency and high cost of labor, water shortage following the effects of climate change and the overexploitation of groundwater, the lack of technical support for farmers and the need to define the place of peri-urban agriculture in the city's sustainable development projects.

The present text aims to present the Adornian conception of music’s racionalization, as a privileged sector of the reason. In this way, we intent to show how the processes which the autor describes concerning the progress of the reason occur in a similar way in the music, allowing us to note that it passes through the moments of disenchantment of the world – the abandon of the theory of the affects – and the enchantment of the concept – when the tonal system consolidates itself as a second nature. For doing that, it will be used some musical treatises and other texts written between the XVI and XVII centuries.

The aim of this paper is to illustrate the Ricœurian contribution to the development of a hermeneutics of otherness. Beginning with Ricœur’s confrontation with Heideggerian thought on temporality, the paper proceeds to develop the connection between time and narrative as an answer to the aporias of time, discovered in the analysis of the cosmological and existential idea of time. In conclusion, the third part will outline the importance of the narrative conception of temporality in the development of a hermeneutics of otherness.
