Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Jadi Cianjur ke-347 tahun 2024, saya menyusun sedikit tulisan ini untuk mengangkat kembali makna "Sugih Mukti" yang ditinjau dari segi kesusastraan dan kebahasaan. Melalui tulisan ini, diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan kepada khalayak luas, khususnya bagi masyarakat dan generasi muda Cianjur. Dengan demikian, nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam makna dan sejarahnya dapat hadir kembali untuk memperkaya identitas kebudayaan di Kabupaten Cianjur.

If we accept the thesis that Cicero's villa in Pompeii was located just outside the walls of Regio VI, on the hill 42.53 m to the north-east, between the Herculaneum Gate and the Villa of the Mysteries, then in Luc. 80 Cicero was referring to the area of the town of Pompeii, not that of the Villa. It is therefore necessary that the saut du même au même does indeed duplicate Pompeianum, but in such a way as to link its first occurrence to regionem, which forms a better attested nexus than the one proposed by Plasberg, thanks to an exact match in Seneca (N.Q. VI, 27, 1, a Pompeiana regione) and others very similar. Finally, instead of Plasberg's ipsum, it is better to integrate the possessive adjective meum, preceded by an at from the following sentence, in order to reinforce the parallelism, the concinnitas and the zoom effect that we have been talking about ("I can see the area of Pompeii from afar, but not to the point of recognising buildings; I can see Pozzuoli from close up, but not to the point of recognising people"): Ego Catuli Cumanum ex hoc loco cerno; regionem video Pompeia<nam; at meum Pompeia>num non cerno.

Until today, the change of /f/ > /h/ has been studied mainly in the Spanish language, and other Romance dialects that present the same linguistics phenomenon have not been researched in the same way. These other languages include: Gascon, Italian dialects, Sardinian dialects, and Romanian dialects. There are two different perspectives for explaining the origin of this linguistic phenomenon: on the one hand, it is said that the change of /f/ > /h/ in Spanish and Gascon corresponds to the same external factor and is different from the change of other Romances dialects, and, on the other hand, the origin of the change of /f/ > /h/ in all Romances dialects is said to be attributed to internal factors. The purpose of this article is to offer an up-to-date perspective about the change of /f/ > /h/ in the different Romance dialects with consideration of the diachronic and synchronic observations. First, we clarify the question on the relationship between the different Romances dialects about the origin of the linguistics phenomenon. Secondly, we observe the phonetic and phonological state of the etymological F in the current Romance dialects that share /h/ (< F). Finally, we provide diachronic data in our analysis to verify the status of the F in the medieval notarial documents that are preserved in the territory of some Romance dialects to which we attend.

Az orosz nyelvű irodalmi művek fordítása során a nevek átírásának gyakorlata az idők során fokozatosan egységesült. A cirill-latin betűs átírás tekintetében Magyarországon három szabály jött létre. Az első kettő idegen nyelvű szövegek latin betűs átadása céljaiból, a harmadik az idegenből származtatott magyar szövegek számára. Ez utóbbi átírási mód a gépi eszközökön nem valósul meg automatikusan. A cikk igyekszik megmutatni, mi a cél, melyek az automatikus eszközök korlátai és mi a megoldás. Annotation The practice of transcribing names in the translation of literary works from Russian has gradually become standardized over time. In Hungary, there are three rules that apply to Cyrillic-Latin transcription. The first two regulate the transcription of foreign texts into the Latin script, and the third pertains to Hungarian texts derived from foreign texts. The latter transcription method is not automatically implemented in digital media. This article attempts to show what the purpose of transcription, the limitations of automatic transcription tools and a potential solution.

Maria Moliner?s first lexicographical work: her contribution to the Aragonese dictionary of the ?Estudio de Filologia de Aragon? Until recently, it was thought that the first and only lexicographical work by Maria Moliner was the Diccionario de uso del espanol. Therefore, the numerous studies on the author and her work have often resorted to literary argumentation rather than more realistic theories to explain why and how a woman archivist was able to produce what many would consider to be the best available Castilian dictionary. In opposition to this belief, the present article reveals that the first work by Maria Moliner as a lexicographer was her contribution to the Diccionario aragones of the ?Estudio de Filologia de Aragon? (1915-1931). This article considers tagging methods for parallel Russian-Polish phrasemathic objects. In particular, an opinion about the annotation tool brat v1.3.is given. This online tool offers a palette of possibilities for classifying words and phrases in parallel texts. Working with this software is largely simplified by a user-friendly interface, and therefore working with the corpus does not cause difficulties for philologists and translators who do not have programming skills. As an example of such a classification, the layout of the metadata system for tagging Russian and Polish parallel phrasemes is described. These resources allow experience to be gathered and concurrent objects to be categorized in the workshop of a translator. The transatlantic notion of the New Woman, which emerged as a feminist ideal in Western consciousness during the late 19th century, resonates throughout both European and US-American literature. The main character in Olga Kobylanska’s novella “Eine Unzivilisierte” (1898) embodies the theme of female liberation in Ukrainian literature of the era. Similarly, the central female figures in Edith Wharton’s short stories, “The Other Two” (1902) and “The Mission of Jane” (1904), highlight the heightened role of women within the patriarchal society of the United States during that period. Applying close reading, block method and typological approach for the study of diachronic aspects of literary relationships the article analyzes the literary embodiment of the concept of New Woman in short prose of Ukrainian and US-American women authors. In “Eine Unzivilisierte”, the protagonist Paraska actively opposes marrying a man chosen by others and is decisive in her own choice of partners; she does not feel any obligation to be a typical “housewife”, or to correspond to the typical picture of a woman, with all the activity connoted as typically “feminine”. Independent of her husband, the New Woman at the turn of the centuries, Paraska proudly appeals to her right and ability to find another partner at any given moment. In contrast to Kobylanska’s novella Wharton’s short stories demonstrate rather submissive behavior of their central female characters, both named Alice. Maternity enables both Alices to subvert the established hierarchy achieving some freedom of New Woman. In Kobylanska’s novella, the rural setting contrasts with the
urban backdrop of Edith Wharton’s short stories, symbolizing the societal constraints faced by the New Woman.

Una nuova stagione di studi sulla letteratura religiosa medievale ha aperto la strada negli ultimi decenni al recupero di alcuni dei più importanti testi di genere agiografico e devozionale, dei quali si va tuttora ricostruendo da un lato l’impatto sulla storia culturale del Medioevo europeo, dall’altro la collocazione nel quadro dell’evoluzione letteraria e linguistica delle diverse aree del continente. Di quello che resta un autentico monumento dell’agiografia medievale, la Legenda aurea di Iacopo da Varazze (1228 ca. - 1298), i contributi raccolti in questo volume esplorano aspetti cruciali della circolazione nell’ambito dei volgari romanzi, senza rinunciare al confronto con le nuove prospettive della ricerca sulla tradizione del testo latino. All’analisi delle dinamiche di trasmissione del leggendario, tra ambienti laici e religiosi, si affianca l’indagine sulle traduzioni parziali e integrali italiane (in toscano, genovese, siciliano) e su quelle in francese, occitano, catalano, castigliano, talora qui esaminate per la prima volta, seguendo approcci di carattere sia filologico sia storico-linguistico.

This paper aims to dissert about the Latin verbal system. Therefore, the path to be followed implies the use of gramaticography methods, one of the areas of linguistic historiography, where the grammar of Latin will be compared to the grammar of the Portuguese language, so that the definition of verb can be reached, observing the permanencies and the discontinuities in the metalinguistic description. The research starts from the principles of contextualization, immanence and adequacy proposed by Koerner. In view of the objectives, the following will be used:Élio Donato’s Latin grammar,  Ernesto  Faria’s Superior  grammar of  Latin language,  Celso  Cunha  and Lindley Cintra’s Contemporary portuguese grammar and Evanildo Bechara’s Modern portuguese grammar.

Resumo: Este é un estudo do actual estado da investigación sobre o Rexurdimento. A partir dunha bibliografía actualizada, analizamos a renacenza galega e facemos a nosa achega en canto á definición, cronoloxía, características centrais, contribución ao imaxinaio nacional colectivo e o valor da lingua como elemento central na construción da identidade e criterio filolóxico na literatura. Ademais, o estudo parte da relación entre o campo político e o cultural. Issue 3 of Interfaces: A Journal of Medieval European Literatures explores the theme of the rediscovery and canonization of the Roman classics in medieval Western European literary culture, beginning in the eleventh century and reaching a wide impact on literary and intellectual life in the twelfth century. It is headed by an article by Birger Munk Olsen whose immense and comprehensive work of cataloguing and analyzing the entire record of manuscripts containing Roman classics copied before 1200 is nearing completion ( L‘etude des auteurs classiques aux XIe et XIIe siecles , 5 vols). Within our journal’s scope of medieval European literature we have found it both rewarding and fitting to take Munk Olsen’s work as a prism for what is a striking literary phenomenon across most geographies and chronologies of medieval Europe: the engagement with the pre-Christian classics.
