Definiciones La productividad es definida como el número de actividades realizadas por unidad de recurso existente en un tiempo dado: por ejemplo, las consultas por hora médico, el número de egresos por cama año, las placas radiológicas por día-equipo, etcétera. Sirve para definir lo deseable y para desarrollar planes o para justificar recursos. Cuando se mide la productividad del recurso humano es necesario discriminar sobre el número de horas (trabajador) contratadas y laboradas. Se entiende por horas contratadas todas aquellas por las cuales el trabajador recibe remuneración, sin que necesariamente deba laborarlas en la institución. Incluye las horas de vacaciones, permisos, licencias, incapacidades, además de aquellas en las que se encuentra laborando realmente en su lugar de trabajo. Las horas laboradas son exclusivamente aquellas en las que el trabajador se encuentra en su sitio de trabajo, dedicado a labores propias en cumplimiento de su contrato. Para efecto de la generación de indicadores se entiende como productividad el número de actividades o productos por hora contratada y como rendimiento

Islam telah melahirkan banyak ilmuwan. Islam berkontribusi besar dalam kemajuan zaman khususnya dalam ilmu pengetahuan farmasi/kedokteran. Lahirnya ilmuwan kedokteran islam membawa perubahan dunia dan mengubah pandangan dunia bahwa islam adalah benar-benar agama yang membawa kebenaran dan kemajuan. Dalam hal ini islam sangat dipandang khususnya dalam kajian ilmu medis/kedokteran. Dalam islam membahas bahwa penyakit ada yang kasat mata dan yang tidak terlihat oleh mata, yang terlihat oleh mata biasanya bisa disembuhkan oleh dokter atau tenaga medis, tetapi ada penyakit hati yang tak kasat mata yaitu seperti iri, dengki, hasud, dan sebagainya yang bisa mengahalangi seseorang dalam meraih kemuliaan diriya. Islam sudah lebih dulu membahas kajian ilmu medis/kedokteran dan memberikan solusi untuk proses penyembuhan penyakit baik yang kasat mata maupun yang tidak. Para ilmuwan seperti Ibnu Sina (Avicenna), Al-Razi, Al-Biruni, Al-Kindi, adalah tokoh yang ada dalam sejarah peradaban  dunia muslim ikut berkontribusi dan mempengaruhi perkembangan ilmu farmasi.

In this paper we have looked at the difference between teaching language structure and teaching vocabulary. We have discussed how counts of frequency alone are not enough to determine what words should be taught. We have seen that knowing a word means more than just knowing its meaning. Even that is problematical since meaning includes sense relations and context, for example. To know a word we also need to know about its use, how it is formed and what grammatical behavior it provokes. Above all, in this paper, we have approached the idea of how vocabulary teaching and learning need to be emphasized in order for students to be competent language users.

This chapter outlines the importance of orality as a form of aesthetic, social and political engagement in the production of culture on the African continent. It gives an insight into some of the most important genres of oral poetry on the African continent, such as praise poetry and in the later parts of the chapter it moves into discussing how orality can now be seen as an active part of popular culture in many African countries.
