    Artificial intelligence is of limited technical usefulness to lawyers and will have little impact on the core work of providing legal advice, top law firms say.

    An AI benchmark study conducted by Allens concluded the technology in its present state was rife with inconsistencies and hallucinations, and all models tested by the firm failed to demonstrate the basic competencies expected of an associate.
