Arnold resigns as Socceroos coach, saying it’s ‘best for the nation’

Football Australia chief executive James Johnson is adamant the Socceroos will qualify for the 2026 World Cup, despite Graham Arnold’s sudden exit, prompting the organisation to fast-track its search for a new head coach.
FA has been left with a little more than a fortnight to find a replacement for Arnold, who informed players of his decision to resign and end his six-year tenure at the helm of the national team on Friday.
