    Companies undeterred by failure of the Voice referendum

    Big companies such as Westpac say the failure of the Voice referendum will not dissuade them from campaigning on social issues from Indigenous reconciliation to population and housing.

    Following the rejection of the Voice in October last year, some business leaders said companies and boards should reconsider intervening in social and political issues, with the Coalition slamming big business including the Commonwealth Bank, Qantas and Woolworths for diverting millions from shareholders and customers to support the Yes campaign.
