    Grant Petty knew that his development team was using artificial intelligence to re-create real voices – he just didn’t know they were trialling the software on his own voice.

    “The other day they play me this deep-faked me, trained off all the product launch videos I’ve done over the years. I’m like, ‘guys! Couldn’t we have used James Earl Jones?’,” the Financial Review Rich List member and founder of film equipment maker Blackmagic Designs says.
