my makeup comes off so easily with this. i was sick of using micellar water with cotton pads bc it was too aggressive and rough on my skin but this is the perfect way for me to take off my makeup daily without being too rough on my skin. love that it comes with a little spoon to scoop out too so you don’t get your grimy fingers in there

I have been following Korean skin care for over 5 years now and at 62 my skin has never looked better. Glass skin is achievable! I love a lot of the Korean products because they are good and also because they come in such innovative and cute packaging. I was awaiting a delivery of cleansing balm and as the days went by I realized I was going to have to look for a different cleansing balm. The first one that caught my attention was this Grace & Stella Makeup removing cleansing Balm. It seemed very similar to the product I usually use only it was significantly less expensive. I figured I would give it a go because Amazon promised delivery in 6 days. It arrived last week and I immediately started using it. It is a beautiful, soft balm that simply melts the makeup away on contact. I use this on my eyes to remove mascara as well. I use it over my entire face. Afterwards it leaves skin feeling soft and smooth and makeup free! This balm is a s good as the one I was using. I will continue to use the Grace & Stella because it works so well and costs less than the Korean product I was using. I am also going to check out what other products are in their line. Loving the product and would highly recommend!

First let me say that it does really take all the makeup off. It goes on easily and leaves the skin clean.
That being saud. I have a serious problem - no matter what I do, or how careful I am, the product severely aggravates my eyes. Burning… very bad. I need drops to try and soothe them. I am SO careful to not get it in my eyes but it doesn’t help.
So if you have sensitive eyes this is not the product for you.
I’ll be looking for a replacement asap. :(

It melts my mascara right off and the best part is that it doesn’t spring or irritate my eyes. My eyes are very sensitive even sensitive eye products make them sting. I can rub this right into my lashes and the brown mascara just comes off. I wipe it off & wash my face. Highly recommend.

After much resistance, I’m a total convert to the double cleanse. Using a cleansing balm, like G&S, removes my daily SPF and keeps the next step (regular cleanser) from overstripping my skin’s natural moisture barrier. My skin no longer feels dry & tight after double cleansing.

Love the amount of product you get here for the price. One jar lasted me almost 3 months. No blurry eyes or breakouts or irritation after using it.

Comparing it to more expensive cleansing balms I’ve tried, it doesn’t rinse off quite as well & no scent (I do enjoy a subtle luxurious fragrance to my skincare as part of the overall experience), but it works well as part of a double cleanse and is a great value. If you’re searching for an affordable effective cleansing balm, look no further.
