Excellent quality, beautiful effect
I’ve applied a lot of different window films and I really really like this one. It is a fairly heavy vinyl so it’s very easy to handle and apply and because it’s thick. It’s easy to push any bubbles out as you lay it down.In terms of how it works with its effect. It provides a ton of privacy as you can see from the half and half photo I posted. The pattern on this looks like crocodile to me, and it’s clear, but iridescent. On a sunny day, the iridescence provides subtle rainbow colors, but it’s not over the top because the film itself doesn’t have die on it.For application of this product, the windows have to be absolutely clean without residue. I like to pre-clean them with rubbing alcohol, and really wipe them down well to make sure there’s nothing that might prevent this product from adhering. Next, I use a spray bottle with water, and I missed the window and a pre-cut sheet of the window film. I apply the window film, starting on a corner and working my way out. Because this is such a nice heavy vinyl, I can use my hand to work out a lot of the bubbles, and I can lift and replace it as necessary. This product does not have glue, it adheres with the water, and it stays adhered. Next, I use a spray bottle with water, and I missed the window and a pre-cut sheet of the window film. I apply the window film, starting on a corner and working my way out. Because this is such a nice heavy vinyl, I can use my hand to work out a lot of the bubbles, and I can lift and replace it as necessary. This product does not have glue, it adheres with the water, and it stays adhered. once I’ve got it placed correctly and as many big bubbles out as possible I use a squeegee or a credit card to push out any additional bubbles on the sides. Inevitably a day or two later, I find a few extra bubbles but it’s no problem because I can push them out.Once everything is the way you want it, use a nice soft cloth to remove any dampness from the outside or the edges.I believe you can trim this once it’s up but I prefer to cut it to size ahead of time so I don’t have to run a blade on the glass. This is one of those jobs were taking a few minutes before you start to measure cut and triple check, saves a lot of grief at the end of the project.Great product, beautiful effect, tons of privacy, and in my opinion very easy to apply if you’re familiar with window film.

Installation? Super easy!! We got the glass wet, pulled off the backing, pushed the water/air bubbles out and bam. Done in under 5 minutes!
Look & Privacy of it? Amazing!! The pattern is classy, and it doesn't look cheap or fake. Truly a wonder!
The only issue: Going in (with all projects) I tried to do the best I could on the lowest cost, so instead of getting the wider film and potentially wasting a lot of the roll, I got the thinnest and knew that I would need to match the pattern. You really can't see the seams of where the separate sheets meet up, especially at a distance!! Wonderful!! However... Most of the pattern lines up, except for one spot (as can be seen in the photos). I don't *need* things to be perfectly lined up, however I don't understand how some of the pattern DOES and this ONE SPOT doesn't?? User error or print error??
So, all in all, LOVE this product. So much! Easy to use and looks fantastic! Do I wish they made a roll that is 25" not 23.5" or whatever it is? Absolutely I do. That would have made this a 5/5 perfect score! As always, if you're willing to pay more you get the "better product" but I do wish with the cheaper option you could still accomplish that look.
