When you have an epic story, the right technology, and great director and cast it is a pleasure to watch it all come together in a wonderful experience for movie lovers. That applies to both the Dune movies. World building may becoming an overused and misused term but not in this case.you really do get a sense of knowing a very alien environment
The ending was just the right touch. Paul is willing to sacrifice his own ego, his own happiness, and his own life to prevent what he ‘sees’ in his future vision to be the death of millions of people. But there is enough ambiguity to ask should he trust this version of the future. What other forces are at play?
This is cinematic science fiction at its best.
