McMoneagle also discussed about the future and the past, and our limited perception of time, which is a sobering food for thought. Neither the past nor the future is fixed, and we wanted it to be so that we may be "conformable" and "sane."
This book is quite easy-to-read and enjoyable.
The author is well known for being involved in numerous government and private studies involving remote viewing. In this book he explores numerous experiences involving his remote viewing skills and also makes numerous future predictions for the future, most of which have not come to pass since he wrote this book in 1998; however, to be fair, many of his predictions are aimed at further years beyond 2001.
I did find this book to be a very interesting and informative read as it explored the idea of past, present time and future being not separate but one continuous stream. The seventeen chapters include the following:
Time and future vision, time, the past, the present, historical viewing, other historical explorations, concepts about future predictions, the Verne effect, looking into the future, forward targeting, demography, economics, environment, governments, social, technology and the year 3000.
The idea that we may somehow be able to travel into the past and future is the theme of numerous science fiction novels, movies and television shows. Scientists have mixed views on the subject but most experts think theoretically it may be possible to time travel to some degree. In any case, if you are interested in remote viewing and time travel predictions this book is for you.
Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Never Trust a Politician: Critical views of politics and politicians).
He has techniques unique to a few. Very scary how we will go into the future.
But we need to think about reality.
Enjoy this book. Check out Robert Monroe too.

For example, he seemed to have missed 9/11, but read the book carefully and you will find that he does indeed catch a disaster in New York, he just ascribes it to a mini nuke. Same for the 2 tsunamis. The Indian Ocean one is clearly a 'miss' but last year's Japanese one may be there, just mis-directed. He noted a big quake/volcanic eruption in Hawaii round about now. What if he got Japan and Hawaii confused? They're both Pacific islands after all.
He caught the 'credit crunch' but played it down, saying that there wouldn't be a 1930s style depression and he was spot on for the 2nd Gulf War. He also mentioned Afganistan several times but without adding that US/UK troops would be engaged there. All in all, he did pretty good. Only thing is, he rckons that the Middle East is just going to keep on throwing up hotspots. Maybe some politicians really OUGHT to read this book - and learn!
