The best, simple thing you can buy! Highly recommend for lakefront homes or those with pools! Perfect in baby’s/kids’ rooms, kitchens, and bedrooms. Or anywhere, actually. We live on lake front. As such, we are never short of gnats and fruit flies; and for some reason this summer, house flies. The only way these devices won’t catch anything (as some claimed), is: 1. They have no flies. 2. They forgot to peel off the plastic covering on the adhesive. 3. They wrote a review too soon.
Not only are house flies attached to the adhesive, but so are a couple of jumper spiders, mosquitoes, numerous gnats and tiny flying insects we can’t identify (no-see-ems, maybe). The blue light attracts anything that flies. And, yes, spiders are beneficial, but on lakefront (or homes with pools), it would take a dozen spiders per room, to wipe out annoying flying pests when doors open and close all summer long. Also, I prefer not having spiders.
Perfect devices for homes in humid climates/environments. These devices WILL rid your space of flies. The only *downside* is that they work so well, you will need to replace adhesive inserts fairly often. Lastly, these units are as silent as any regular nightlight. There’s no frequency being emitted. The blue light is non-intrusive and very subtle.
We bought two to test their efficiency. Today, I am here to purchase a few more.

I’m now a believer
I was hesitant at first about how expensive these things were but my goodness they are amazing. There’s no mess, they’re super sleek and not noticeable other than the little blue light. They’re easy to use and the cartridge is easy to replace. They even turn to the side for multiple angles in the room. We use ours since we have plants and the pictures attached are after literally an hour and a half. There were so many fungus gnats/flies caught just in that small amount of time I was so impressed. I ended up buying one for each room. Pair these with the yellow plant stickies and you’re doing even better! They’re sticky enough for bugs but not too sticky they’ll get stuck to everything and since they’re angled in a way, they don’t get caught on everything. 10/10 and will buy more.
