Sibi Nyaoga is a program assistant for the Atlantic Council’s Africa Center where he supports the center’s work on critical minerals and migration. His interests include border technology, climate change, and the evolving political relationship between Africa and other world regions in the twenty-first century. 

Before his current role, Nyaoga worked as a young global professional with the Africa Center. He previously interned at Songhai Advisory, based in Accra, Ghana, and at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.  

Nyaoga received a BA in political science and Africana studies from Tufts University. While at Tufts, he spent a year at the London School of Economics and Political Science as a student on the General Course. Originally from Nairobi, Kenya, he also studied at African Leadership Academy in Johannesburg, South Africa.
