Clyde clinched one of the two remaining places in the Scottish Cup third round with a 3-2 win away to Musselburgh Athletic after extra time.

The League 2 strugglers will next host another East of Scotland League side, Jeanfield Swifts.

Connor Young put Clyde ahead with 15 minutes remaining, but Jamie Todd equalised to force extra time.

Goals from Martin Rennie and Kian Leslie extended the lead before Chris Renton's late reply.

It was Clyde's first game under interim manager Chris Millar following the sacking of Brian McLean with his side sitting second bottom of Scotland's fourth tier.

Swifts, who are a place above Musselburgh in their league table, caused the biggest shock of the second round, thrashing League 2 visitors Elgin City 6-0 on Saturday.

It leaves one tie to be decided, with the rearranged fixture between Luncarty and Bo'ness United taking place this coming Saturday for the right to visit Greenock Morton.

Saturday's draw produced two big derbies as Championship clubs entered the draw, with Dunfermline Athletic hosting Fife rivals Raith Rovers and Partick Thistle entertaining Glasgow neighbours Queen's Park.

Rovers defeated the Pars 1-0 in Saturday's league encounter - their third meeting of the season in all competitions so far this season - and Queen's Park drew 2-2 with Thistle on Friday.

Second-tier leaders Dundee United travel to meet League 1 side Queen of the South.

East of Scotland League side Dunbar United will host Alloa Athletic after surprising League 2 outfit East Fife in round two.
