Stan dictates the points so well. Andy is frustrated with himself, he can't give Stan so many free hits.

Jit C: All well and good creating opportunities, but you need to take them. Murray's had 15-40 and 0-30, now 15-30, but has not broke once yet.

Stan Wawrinka surges into a 40-0 lead in this fourth game after some brilliant serving.
*Wawrinka 6-4 2-1 Murray
Much like the first, Andy Murray is up against it at the start of the set.
The Briton hits long and lets out an almighty shout in frustration.
Murray needs to find a reply here before it's too late.
Wawrinka 6-4 1-1 Murray*
Ooooh that's a painful one for Andy Murray.
He tries the serve and volley but his volley ends up in the net. Looked like it was going over. Two break points.

Stan Wawrinka's drop-shot was OK, but it was more that Andy overran it.
Wawrinka 6-4 1-1 Murray*
Not the best from Andy Murray at the net as he touches the ball wide. It's not an easy shot but you'd have expected him to make it.
Under pressure on serve as Wawrinka wraps a gorgeous back hand up the line - leading to Murray firing long. 0-30.
Wawrinka 6-4 1-1 Murray*
A couple of strong serves from Stan Wawrinka puts him in pole position for the game.
Andy Murray can only hit long after a great slice from the Swiss.
Two good holds from both.
*Wawrinka 6-4 0-1 Murray
Beautiful hands from Andy Murray to execute a drop shot perfectly. Like the rest of us, Stan Wawrinka had no idea that was coming! 30-30.

Stan played a good first set. No matter how much you practise, you know there will still be a little bit of nerves.
They'll both be comfortable with how they've begun, but it will be difficult for Andy if he loses this set. Andy's a peculiar one, you never know what he can do.

"Hit me baby one more time," pleads Britney Spears over the PA system at the end of the set.
Perhaps the Roland Garros DJ is begging Wawrinka and/or Murray not to leave tennis.
*Wawrinka 6-4 0-1 Murray
That's more like it!
Much better start to the set from Andy Murray as he stands firm at the net to guide a volley beyond Stan Wawrinka.
He leads early.
Wawrinka 6-4 0-0 Murray*
Great judgement from Andy Murray to let a high ball drift wide of the line. Must have been so tempting to give that a whack. 15-15.
Wawrinka 6-4 0-0 Murray*
Andy Murray gets set two under way and he'll want a much better start to this one than the first.

It's always tough when you lose that first game. You feel as though you're not prepared for the match. Andy has actually played quite well. Stan unloaded on some shots and took the break.
Wawrinka 6-4 0-0 Murray*
Stan Wawrinka does, eventually take the first set in 53 minutes, as Andy Murray is forced out wide and fires over a wide, looping forehand.
These two are neck and neck, but it's the Swiss who strikes first.

That's lit the fuse! Murray clenches his teeth and shakes his fist after saving another set point. But he still has work to do...
*Wawrinka 5-4 Murray
Back to basics with an ace.
*Wawrinka 5-4 Murray
How has he missed that?!
A brilliant rally that sees both players at the net. Wawrinka has all the control as Murray pops the ball up for a smash, but Wawrinka somehow hits it long.
Deuce.
