The pizza giant is opening on Upper Newtownards Road and is seeking store managers, pizza chefs, customer service staff and delivery drivers for the new premises.

Its new location is at the former home of Capers Pizza, one of the longest-established pizzeria in Belfast until its closure in March.

Domino’s is also opening a new store in Moira, Co Down, in June, and marking one year since opening in Newtownabbey and Dunmurry.

George Bertram, chief executive of Shorecal, Ireland’s biggest Domino’s franchise, said: “We’re thrilled to see Domino’s grow and become such a favourite across Northern Ireland and we are delighted to bring the nation’s favourite pizza to Ballyhackamore and the surrounding areas of Belfast.”

Shorecal is now owned outright by Domino’s following a deal to acquire 85% of the business.
