Brendan Rodgers shows that casual sexism is still alive and well
Everything depends on tone and the spirit in which words are said
For the record, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers did not pat BBC sports reporter Jane Lewis on the head, during a terse post-match interview last weekend. Nor did he tell her to run along and play.
But to be honest, he may as well have done. Calling Lewis “good girl” wasn’t much of an improvement.
