Just how much influence do religious groups have on our schools and schoolchildren? It’s a question which has long concerned me.
My unease grew when my own teenage children received relationship and sex education (RSE) classes at their secondary school. These were delivered by a conservative Christian organisation called Love for Life, which provided RSE lessons to the vast majority of post-primary schools in Northern Ireland.
