Just call me a digital dinosaur. A tetchy old technophobe if you like. But I suspect I’m not the only one, maybe of a certain vintage, who’s finding it more and more challenging to keep up with the advances of the modern information age.

Quite patently the internet and the mobile phone have been game-changers for all of us and overwhelmingly for the better. But I’m convinced that there are downsides to the revolution which are making life more difficult, not easier.
