Rickey Minor, Hans Zimmer, Marc Shaiman and more scored multiple nominations.
It was Gomez’s first acting nomination, Glover’s fifth.
The singer, actor and activist died in 2023 at age 96.
Pastor Mike Jr. and Ricky Dillard each received six nods; Jonathan McReynolds and Erica Campbell each received five.
They will be honored at an April 2025 event, along with fellow honorees Marshall Allen and Marilyn Crispell.
