The M4 was blocked by a crash this morning, Friday, May 17. There were delays heading eastbound near Bristol.
According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the crash took place near junction 20 at the Almondsbury Interchange at around 10.20am. The road was cleared and traffic returned to normal shortly before 11am.
Inrix says: "Road cleared and traffic easing, accident cleared on M4 Eastbound at J20 M5 J15 (Almondsbury Interchange)."
