I am an Associate Professor at the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. I research issues in development, labor, education, gender, and inequality in the Middle East and North Africa. Current projects include work on education and labor market mismatch, skills training, pre-primary quality and inequality, the future of work, and child care and female labor force participation. I received my PhD from the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota. Before starting the PhD I received my master’s in public policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
