Met Office 5-day forecast for the South West

Today's forecast predicts morning fog patches clearing quickly for a bright day full of sunshine. Despite this, scattered afternoon showers are expected, some of which could be heavy with hail and thunder, especially in the east.

A warm and humid day is expected with an 18C peak temperature.

Tonight's prediction sees evening showers fading away leading up to a dry night with clear spells. Light winds may bring about some fog patches.

Rural areas might feel a bit chilly, with a minimum temperature of 6C.

Friday's weather will see any existent overnight fog and low cloud disappear, leaving room for another day of sunshine interspersed with showers. Some showers are predicted to be intense, maybe with hail and thunder.

Warm weather is expected with a high of 20C.

As per the forecast for Saturday through to Monday, overnight clouds will make way for daily sunshine. Though it's predicted to be mostly dry, there's a small chance for showers in some spots.

The days will feel warm under the sun.
