The A394 in Cornwall was closed following a crash this morning, Friday, May 17. According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the route was shut in both directions near Marazion, located two miles east of Penzance.
The crash took place between Turnpike Road and the A30 at around 10.15am. The road reopened and traffic returned to normal by 2pm.
Inrix says: "Traffic returned to normal, accident cleared on A394 in both directions from The Services turn off to Newtown roundabout. Sensors indicate the road has reopened."

A394 closed westbound
The latest update from Inrix says: "A394 Westbound closed, slow traffic due to accident from The Services turn off to Newtown roundabout. Congestion to routes along Turnpike Road passing the cemetery.
"Sensors indicate only westbound is closed."
Two cars catch fire in crash
Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at 10.15am today, 17 May, following a two vehicle collision on the A394 near Marazion, Cornwall. Both cars caught fire as a result of the collision.
"Fire and ambulance are in attendance. One man has been taken to Treliske Hospital but his injuries are not thought to be serious at this time.
"The road is closed at Newtown Roundabout and at Marazion."
