A woman was allegedly "dragged" from a car and attacked during a street brawl that saw two people being taken to hospital and two people arrested.

Shocking video footage of the incident in northern County Armagh shared on social media shows groups of people trying to attack one another with weapons.

Emergency services were scrambled to the Drumbeg estate in Craigavon at around 9.10pm on Monday, June 24, following reports of a rammy in the area, Belfast Live reports.

Police allege that a woman was pulled from a vehicle and assaulted during the scrap. Two people were taken to Craigavon Area Hospital for treatment.

Cops launched a probe into the incident and have arrested two men. The force have urged anyone with information to come forward.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Two men, aged 29 and 37, were arrested after police were called to a brawl in the Drumbeg estate in Craigavon yesterday, Monday 24 June.

"It’s understood a woman was pulled from her car and assaulted during the incident, which involved a number of people, at around 9pm.

"An investigation is ongoing and the arrested pair remain in custody at present. Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call 101, quoting reference 1701 June 24, 2024."

A Northern Ireland Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 9.01pm on Monday, following reports of an incident in the Drumbeg Area, Craigavon

"NIAS dispatched one Emergency crew, one Rapid Response Paramedic and an Ambulance Officer to the incident. Following initial assessment and treatment at the scene, two patients were taken to Craigavon Area Hospital by Ambulance."
