People in Dorset will have the opportunity to surrender weapons as part of a crackdown on crime.
As part of Sceptre Week, which runs from Monday, May 13 to Sunday, May 19, police stations across the region will offer surrender bins.
This is part of Operation Sceptre, a national initiative to tackle knife crime which Dorset Police have taken part in since its introduction in 2021. There will be surrender bins at stations across the county to hand in any weapons.
As part of the amnesty, there will be no questions asked when weapons are surrendered.
